David Dwight Corlew

Mr. David Dwight "Buckwheat" Corlew was born January 24, 1950 to Clarence and Ernestene Corlew in Davidson County, Tennessee.  He passed away February 15, 2016 at St. Thomas Hospital in Nashville following a short illness with cancer.  He was 66 years of age.He is survived by his mother Ernestene Corlew of Burns, wife of 43 years Barbara (Lampley) Corlew, daughter Lindsey Brooke Corlew of White Bluff, and brothers Dale Corlew and wife Doylene and Keith Corlew and wife Sharon, all of Burns.He is preceded in death by his father.Visitation will be Wednesday, February 17th, from 4-8 pm, and Thursday, February 18th, from 11 am until 8 pm, and Friday, February 19th, from 11 am until time of service.  Funeral service will be Friday, February 19th, from the Chapel of Dickson Funeral Home beginning at 2 pm.  Burial will follow in the Williams Cemetery in White Bluff. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Ag in the Classroom at Farm Bureau or Chapel Hill Church of Christ.Dwight Corlew was a member of the Chapel Hill Church of Christ.  He was a farmer.
