Mrs. Dorothy Lee Adkins of Clarksville, Tn. passed away Monday, November 16, 2015 at her residence, at the age of 96. Mrs. Adkins is survived by one son Edward "Ed" Adkins and wife Relda Ann of Clarksville, Tn. One Daughter Annette Short of Clarksville, Tn. as well as five grandchildren Rebecca Myers, Audrey Rothstein and husband Edward, Eddie Adkins and wife Lisa, Gregory Short, and Timothy Adkins with his wife Christine. Ten Great Grandchildren and Several Nieces and Nephews. Mrs. Dorothy Lee Adkins was preceded in death by her parents John Wilson Lee, Jr. and Annie Ruth (Clark) Lee, husband Edward Lee "Jack" Adkins, Sr., sister Beatrice "Bea" Carson, brother-in-law John Willard Carson and James Hail Burress, father-in-law and mother-in -law B.L. and Minnie Susan (Wyatt) Adkins, sister-in-law Irene Adkins Burress. Visitation for Mrs. Dorothy Lee Adkins will be Thursday, November 19th, beginning at 10 am. with Funeral Services Thursday, November 19th at 12 Noon from the Chapel of Dickson Funeral Home with Bro. Melvin Brooks officiating. Burial to follow in Union Cemetery of Dickson.In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to AseraCare or the Charity of your choice.
