Carrie Louise Jones

Carrie Louise Jones, age 92 passed way at her residence in Dickson on October 19, 2015. She was born on June 10th, 1923 in Montgomery County, TN to the late Norman and Effie Zelma Jones Yates Choate. In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by her husband, Clyde D. Jones; brothers Wallace, Norman E. and Dudley M. Yates; sister Lorene DeVandry and several step-brothers and sisters. She is survived by one brother, Melvin Yates (Marie) of Dickson and several nieces and nephews as well as step-nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, October 21st, at 2:00 p.m. from the Chapel of Dickson Funeral Home with Brother Steve Baggett officiating. Interment will follow at Dickson County Memorial Gardens. Visitation with the family will begin on Tuesday, from 12:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. and on Wednesday from 11:00 a.m. until time of service.
