Robert "Bobby" Lewis Smith

Robert "Bobby" Lewis Smith, age 84 passed away September 14, 2015 at Horizon Medical Center. Bobby is preceded in death by his parents "Fiddlin" Arthur and Nettie Jewel Baker Smith; wife Dorothy Carroll Smith; sisters Lavonne Smith Brown, Geraldine Smith Walp, Edythe Smith Carlisle and Pat Smith Slatton; brothers Ernest Smith, Arthur Smith Jr. and Jackie Smith. Bobby is survived by brothers Don (Kitty) Smith, William "Bill" Calvin Smith and Douglas Macarthur (Nina) Smith; sisters Gene (William ) Smith Olafsen and Dottie Smith Barham; special friend Edith Overton and also by many nieces and nephews. Bobby was an avid golfer. He also had a band "Southern Expression" where he was the lead singer, playing around Nashville and at special events at Ford Glass Company. Visitation with the family will be Thursday September 17, 2015 from 5pm until 8 pm and Friday September 18 from 10 am until time of service. Funeral Services for Bobby will be held Friday September 18, 2015 at 1:00 pm from the Chapel of Dickson Funeral Home with Brother Lewis Bratton, Jr. officiating.
