Robert Moore Long

Robert Moore Long , age 71, passed away on July 8th, 2015 at Centennial Hospital in Nashville. He was born on January 10th, 1944 to the late Percy Freeman and Euna Hickerson Long. In addition to his parents, he was also preceded in death by four brothers, Terry Gene, Lawrence, Willard, and Percy Long; and sisters Wilma Parker, Linda Fleet, and Anna K. Nicks. He is survived by his wife, Georgia Reynolds Long of Charlotte, TN; a son Robert Dwight Long, also of Charlotte; and a brother Jimmy Long of Mt. Juliet, TN. Funeral services will be held on Thursday, July 16th at 2:00 p.m. from the Chapel of Dickson Funeral Home, with Brother Daniel Cauthern officiating. Interment will follow at Liberty Cemetery. Visitation with the family will begin on Tuesday, July 14th, from 4:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m., Wednesday, July 15th, from 9:00 a.m. until 8:00 p.m., and Thursday from 9:00 p.m. until the time of service.
