Mrs. Virginia Lee Hagewood from Cumberland Furnace passed away Sunday, June 21,2015 at Centennial Medical Center in Nashville Tn. Mrs. Hagewood is survived by: Mother - Roberta Melton of McEwen Sons - Willie John Hagewood (Laura) of Burns; Steve Boyd Hagewood (Michelle) of Cumberland Furnace; Kelly Hagewood (Terri) of White Bluff. Step - Daughter - Terri Phillips of Sylvia. Brothers - Steve Melton of Seattle, Washington, Kenny Melton of McEwen, and Mark Melton of Burns. Sisters- Sherry Abernathy of Clarksville, Vicky Estes of Dickson. Nine Grandchildren and Three Great Grandchildren. Mrs. Hagewood is preceded in death by father John Thomas Melton, husband Boyd Hagewood, and sisters Helen M. Williams and Jenny Hutchison. Visitation will be Wednesday, June 24th, from 3-8 pm. and Thursday, June 25th, from 10 am. until time of service. Funeral Service for Mrs. Virginia Lee Hagewood will be Thursday, June 25th, from the Chapel of Dickson Funeral Home beginning at 2 pm. with burial to follow in the Cumberland Furnace Cemetery.
