Donald Ward Petty

Mr. Donald Ward Petty was born June 10, 1935 to Austin and Lorene (Petty) Petty in Hickman County, Tennessee. He passed away following a short illness February 2, 2015 at Centennial Medical Center in Nashville. He was 79 years of age. Survivors include: son Jeff Petty; daughters Donna Petty, Tammy Petty, and Sandi Petty (Steve Christian); brothers Bobby Petty (Virginia) and James Petty; brother-in-law A.W. Mayberry, Jr.; sisters Imogene Anderson, Ruth Donegan, Kathleen Dunn, and Barbara Dunn; grandchild Octavia Petty; and special friend, his dog Sparky. Besides his parents,Mr. Petty is preceded in death by his wife Barbara Ann Petty and daughter Paula Ann Conatser. Visitation will be Friday, February 6th, from 10 am until 8 pm and Saturday, February 7th, from 9 am until time of service. Funeral service will be Saturday, February 7th, from the Chapel of Dickson Funeral Home beginning at 11 am with Bro. Bill McDonald officiating. Burial will follow in the Redden Cemetery on Highway 48 South.
