Mr. Zinnie Vernon Burris of Arcadia, Florida, passed away on January 09, 2015, at Lee Memorial Hospital, Ft. Myers. Fla. Mr. Burris is survived by his wife of 32 years-Elaine (Parsons) Burris. Son: Ronald (Sharon) Burris Step-Son: Clifford (Bethany) Williams Daughters: Katrina Smithson Lisa (Otho) Webster Step-Daughters: Alicia (Joshua) Langdon; Michelle (Tank) Reid Brother: Paul (Arlene) Burris Half-Bro: Russell (Candy) Burris 12 Grandchildren: Charlie, Sara, Shannon, Robert, Amanda, Clay, Sean, Caleb, Cali, August,Brooke, Enori Mei and Zindee Lou. 6 Great-Grandchildren: Avery, Sophi, Mila, Robert Jr., and, Vernon . Preceded in death by: Parents: Zinnie Burris and Nina (Cheek) Burris;Sister: Barbara Soroka Visitation - Sunday, January 18, 2015 at Bethel Baptist church 1:00 until 4:00 PM Memorial Service at the Church officiated by Bro. Randy Franklin. Mr. Burris was a retired member of the Metro Police Department in Nashville, Tn.
