Gracie Mai Jones

Mrs. Gracie Mai Caldwell Jones was born August 13, 1923 to Presley Columbus and Jenny (Manus) Merritt in Williamson County, Tennessee. She passed away December 1, 2014 at Alive Hospice of Nashville. She was 91 years of age. Survivors include: son James Caldwell; daughters Annie Mai Knall and Lisa Sullivan; sisters Brownie Pruitt, Bonnie Graham, Pauline Welch, and Christine Bishop. There are sixteen grandchildren, twenty-four great grandchildren, one great great grandchild, and one great great great grandchild. Besides her parents, Mrs. Jones is preceded in death by her first husband William Buford Caldwell, second husband R.H. Jones, and sons William Presley Caldwell and Joseph Mitchell Caldwell. Visitation will be at the Fairview Chapel on Wednesday, December 3rd, from 4-8 pm and Thursday, December 4th, from 10 am until time of service. Funeral service will be Thursday, December 4th, from the Fairview Chapel beginning a 2 pm with Bro. Joe Curry officiating. Burial will follow in the Lampley Cemetery of Fairview.
