Madie Tidwell

Mrs. Madie Tidwell was born February 25, 1921 to Jim and Tennie (Harrington) Plunkett in Hickman County, Tennessee. She passed away October 16, 2014 at NHC Healthcare Center of Dickson. She was 93 years of age. Survivors include: daughter Wilma Petty (Doyle) of Dickson; brother James Plunkett of Dickson; grandchildren Angie Adkins (Keith), Steve Beasley (Lesa), and Duane Beasley; great grandchildren Cassie Lawrence, Brandon Adkins, Justin Beasley, and Danie Beasley; and great great grandchildren Jaxton Beasley, Crysta Davidson, and Briar Davidson. Besides her parents, Mrs. Tidwell is preceded in death by her husband Earl Tidwell, son Ronnie Tidwell, daughter Margie Lampley, daughter Shirley Beasley, sister Lorene, and brother Elgie Plunkett. Visitation is Friday, October 17th, from 4-8 pm and Saturday, October 18th,from 10 am until time of service. Funeral service is Saturday, October 18th, from the chapel of Dickson Funeral Home beginning at 12 Noon with Bro. Fred Mayberry officiating. Burial will follow in the New Hope Baptist Cemetery in Bon Aqua. Arrangements by Dickson Funeral Home.
