Milbry B. Jenkins

Mrs. Milbry B. Jenkins was born July 18, 1924 to Willie Braxton and Mary Sue (Hickerson) Bishop in Dickson County, Tennessee. She passed away October 14, 2014 at NHC Healthcare Center in Dickson. She was 90 years of age. She is survived by: son Thomas Duncan Jenkins of Gainesboro; daughter Joanne Jenkins Deckwa and husband Arnie of Oak Harbor, Washington; granddaughter Karen Leigh Griffith and husband Greg D.; and great grandson Carter Douglas Griffith. Besides her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband James Thomas Jenkins, sister Christine B. Norman, and Alan Sullivan. Visitation will be Friday, October 17th, beginning at 11 am and continue until 1:45 pm. Graveside services are scheduled to begin at 2 pm with Bro. Lewis Bratton officiating. Burial will be in the Union Cemetery of Dickson. She served as assistant manager for Sears Roebuck. Arrangements by Dickson Funeral Home.
