Eldridge Clifton Sexton

Mr. Eldridge Clifton Sexton, Sr. was born September 21, 1930 to Leonard and Robbie (Stavely) Sexton in Stewart County, Tennessee. He passed away September 9, 2014 at his residence in Fairview. He was 83 years of age. Survivors include: son Eldridge Clifton Sexton, Jr.; daughter Kim Mangrum (Randall); sister Ruth Morrow; grandchildren Brittain Mangrum (Rachel), Dawn Mangrum, Mattie Sexton, Camron Sexton, Rae Sexton, Troy Sexton, Rebekah Sexton; step great grandchildren Nathan and Eythan O'Neal. Besides his parents, Mr. Sexton is preceded in death by his wife Edith Sexton, brothers Eldon and Elmer Sexton, and sisters Gladys McGee and Jean Davenport. Mr. Sexton served his country in the United States Army. He was a member of the Westview United Methodist Church of Fairview. He retired from Aladdin Industries of Nashville. In lieu of flowers, memorials are requested to Alive Hospice or the Westview United Methodist Church. Funeral services were Saturday, September 13th, from the Fairview Chapel with Pastor Don Sensing officiating. Burial with military honors followed at the Harpeth Hills Memorial Gardens.
