Georganne Compson

Mrs. Georganne Compson was born September 6, 1920 in Derby, Ohio. She passed away August 17, 2014 at her residence in Dickson. She was 93 years of age. Survivors include: sons William Compson and wife Charlene of San Diego, California, Mark Compson of Ft. Lauderdale, Florida, and James Compson, Sr. and wife Linda of Nashville; seven grandchildren and nine great grandchildren. Besides her parents, Mrs. Compson is preceded in death by her husband Harold H. Compson, daughter Gwen C. Barr, brother Thomas Timmons, and sister Betty Lou Riner. At the request of the deceased and her family, the body will be cremated. A memorial service will be held at the Bethel Baptist Church on September 27, 2014 beginning at 11:00 am.
