Henry Learton Whitfield

Mr. Henry Learton Whitfield was born December 31, 1924 to Josh Wade and Belle (Taylor) Whitfield in Dickson County, Tennessee. He passed away June 21, 2014 at Dickson Healthcare Center of Dickson. He was 89 years of age. Survivors include: sons Dale Whitfield and his wife Dianne and Dennis Whitfield and his wife Gloria (Both of White Bluff); daughters Faye Knuckles of White Bluff and Patsy Whitfield Rivers and her husband Jimmy of Nunnelly; nine grandchildren and thirteen great grandchildren. Besides his parents, Mr. Whitfield is preceded in death by his wife Dora Edith (Dawson) Whitfield, sister Susie Mae Cook, and brother Jesse Joe Whitfield. Visitation and funeral service will be at the White Bluff Chapel. Visitation will be Sunday, June 22nd, from 5-8 pm and Monday, June 23rd, from 11 am until time of service. Funeral service will be Monday, June 23rd, from the White Bluff Chapel beginning at 2 pm with Bro. Jerry Duke and Bro. Donnie Hutcheson officiating. Burial will follow in the Dickson County Memorial Gardens. Arrangements by Dickson Funeral Home - White Bluff Chapel.
