Thomas Howard Marbut

Mr. Thomas Howard Marbut was born March 23, 1934 to Thomas Edward Marbut and Fannie (Nolan) Marbut in Giles County, Tennessee. He passed away June 8, 2014 following a short illness at his residence in Lawrenceburg. He was 80 years of age. He is survived by: wife Nathalee Clayton Marbut of Lawrenceburg; sons Randall R. Marbut and Ricky J. Marbut (both of Pegram); daughters Tammy Denise Summers (Randy) of Kingston Springs and Vicky Lynn fisher (Mark) of Ashland City; step-daughters Tine Clifft (Brian) of Lawrenceburg and Tricia James (Dwayne) of Leoma; sister Gervis C. Johnson of Hillsboro; eleven grandchildren, five step grandchildren, and thirteen great grandchildren. Besides his parents, Mr. Marbut is preceded in death by his first wife Mary Marbut, son James Edward, and brother Porter Marbut. Visitation will be Wednesday, June 11th, from 5-8 pm and Thursday, June 12th, from 10 am until time of service. Funeral service will be Thursday, June 12th, from the Chapel of Dickson Funeral Home beginning at 1 pm with Bro. Leon Everetts officiating. Burial will follow in the Harpeth Hills Memorial Gardens.
