Allene Brown Dunnagan

Mrs. Allene Brown Dunnagan was born June 16, 1908 to Samuel Spencer Brown and Judy Tennessee (Jenkins) Brown in Hickman County, Tennessee. She passed from this life May 31, 2014 at her residence in Dickson. She was 105 years of age, falling just 16 days short of her 106th birthday. Survivors include several nieces and nephews who saw to her every need. They include (but are not limited to) Carolyn Yokley (Jerry) of Franklin, James Alan Yokley of Atlanta, J. Baker Yokley of Nashville, June McDonough (Johnny) of Burns, Steve McDonough (Kim) of Burns, Judy Weaver (Wayne) of Franklin, and Rita Brown of Nashville. Besides her parents, Mrs. Dunnagan is preceded in death by her husband Claud Dunnagan, sister Nellie Bradford, brothers Spencer and Ezell Brown, and nieces Jewel Walp and Ruth Bullion. Visitation will be Monday, June 2nd, from 4-8 pm and Tuesday, June 3rd, from 11 am until time of service. Funeral service will be Tuesday, June 3rd, from the Chapel of Dickson Funeral Home beginnning at 1 pm. Burial will follow in the Union Cemetery of Dickson. Arrangements by Dickson Funeral Home.
