Doris Elizabeth Lane

Mrs. Doris Elizabeth Lane was born January 14, 1933 to George W. and Ethel (Green) Coone in Dickson County, Tennessee. She passed away May 11, 2014 at her residence in Tennessee City. She was 81 years of age. Survivors include: sons Clarence Pendergrass (Lillie May) of Dickson, Jerry Lane of Dickson, Mike Lane (Melinda) of Dickson, and Johnny Lane (Linda) of Dickson; daughters Ann Pendergrass of Dickson, Kay Eaton (Marty) of Dickson, Kathey Pulley (Barry) of Dickson, Jill Fitzgerald of Columbia, Joan Lane (Larry Herman) of Vale, NC; and Robbie Lane Ponder of Dickson; sister Sue Oliphant of Dickson. There are 22 grandchildren, 12 step grandchildren, 34 great grandchildren, and 3 great great grandchildren. Besides her parents, Mrs. Lane is preceded in death by her husband Robert Lee Lane, son Terry Lane, brothers Buford, George, and Tommy Coone, son-in-law Jim Fitzgerald, two grandchildren, and grandson-in-law Andres Carpenter. Visitation will be Monday, May 12th, from 6-8 pm, and Tuesday, May 13th, from 8 am - 8 pm, and Wednesday, May 14th, from 8 am until time of service. Funeral service will be Wednesday, May 14th, from the Chapel of Dickson Funeral Home beginning at 2 pm with Bro. Enoch Lankford officiating. Burial will follow in the Union Cemetery of Dickson.
