Leona Bell Welch

Mrs. Leona Bell Welch was born July 2, 1932 to Clarence and Lucy (Estes) Welch in Dickson County, Tennessee. She passed away May 6, 2014 at NHC Healthcare Center in Columbia. She was 81 years of age. She is survived by one sister, Wilma Jean Williams, of Columbia. She is preceded in death by her parents. Mrs. Welch worked for Red Kap Industries of Dickson. She later was a cook at High Point Restaurant in Dickson. Visitation will be Thursday, May 8th, from 2-8 pm and Friday, May 9th, from 11 am until time of service. Funeral service will be Friday, May 9th, from the Chapel of Dickson Funeral Home beginning at 1 pm with Elder Clifton Johnson officiating. Burial will follow in the Dickson County Memorial Gardens. Mrs. Welch was a member of the Leipers Fork Primitive Baptist Church. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the church. Arrangements by Dickson Funeral Home.
