Clara Beatrice Clifton

Mrs. Clara Beatrice Clifton was born July 6, 1923 to P.L. Gray, Sr. and Alma (Brown) Gray in Davidson County, Tennessee. She passed away April 11, 2014 at her residence in Burns, TN at the age of 90. Survivors include: sons Wilson Clifton (Libby) and Doug Clifton (Sharon); daughters Margie Tidwell and Martha Davidson (Don); brothers P.L. Gray, Jr., Earl Gray (Virginia), and Bobby Gray (Patty); sister Alene Broshears; sister-in-law Dean Gray; grandchildren Mike Tidwell (Donna), Lisa Davidson, Rusty Tidwell (Jeanne), Monica Gossett (Mike), Diane Klein (Chuck), Allison Duke (Mark), and Mason Clifton; great grandchildren Amelia Tidwell, Jessa and Hannah Gossett, and Alyssa and Ethan Ryals. Special friends include Roger Michael and Bill & Jean Allen. Besides her parents, Mrs. Clara is preceded in death by her husband of 63 years Clyde Clifton, son Jimmy Clifton, brothers Kenneth and Ben Gray and sister Kathryn Buttrey. Funeral services were Monday, April 14, 2014 from the Chapel of Dickson Funeral Home with Bro. Paul Darety and Bro. Roger Michael officiating. Burial was in the Union Cemetery of Dickson.
