Charles Martin Cato

Mr. Charles Martin Cato was born February 22, 1930 to Alvie Watson and Mary Etherlene (Cherry) Cato in Stewart County, Tennessee. He passed away March 19, 2014 at Horizon Medical Center in Dickson. He was 84 years of age. He is survived by: wife of 61 years Joann Cato; daughters Patsy Gibbs (Ricky) of Lyles and Kathy Dean (Butch) of Dickson; brother Bobby Gene Cato of Burns; grandchildren Shonna Chapman (Brad), Mesha Yates (Josh), April Casson (Adam), Heather Dean, and Peyton Dean; great grandchildren Michaela Yates, Joey Yates, and Aiden Casson. Besides his parents, Mr. Cato is preceded in death by his brother Joe Ray Cato. Visitation will be Thursday, March 20th, from 3-8 pm, and Friday, March 21st, from 2-8 pm, and Saturday, March 22nd, from 8:30 til time of service. Funeral service will be Saturday, March 22nd, from the Chapel of Dickson Funeral Home beginning at 10 am. Burial will follow in the Dickson County Memorial Gardens.
