Addie Lee Owens

Mrs. Addie Lee Owens was born October 20, 1947 to John Gilbert and Frances (Barker) Kennedy in Williamson County, Tennessee. She passed away March 3, 2014 at St. Thomas Hospital West in Nashville, Tennessee. Survivors include: son Johnny Owens of Fairview; daughter Betty Gail Owens of Oakmont, Alabama; brother Raymond Kennedy of Fairview; sisters Mildred Kennedy of Fairview and Louetta Armstrong of Metamora, Michigan; four grandchildren and one great grandchild. Besides her parents, Mrs. Owens is preceded in death by her husband John W. "Boogie" Owens, sisters Clara Hedge and Mary Poteete, brothers George and William Kennedy, and great grandson Bentley Gage Proctor. Visitation will be at the Fairview Chapel on Wednesday, March 5th, from 2-8 pm and Thursday, March 6th, from 9 am until time of service. Funeral service will be Thursday, March 6th, from the Fairview Chapel beginning at 2 pm with Bro. Larry Tidwell officiating. Burial will follow in the Hudgins Cemetery. Mrs. Owens was a homemaker.
