Jessie William Mathis was born April 19, 1995 to William Russell Mathis and Susan Jones Mathis in Pell City, Alabama. He passed away suddenly February 21, 2014 at his residence in Pell City, Alabama. Survivors include: grandparents Dean and Nancy Hayes Conley; father William Russell Mathis (Anita); mother Susan Jones (Mickey); grandfather Wayne Newton; step-grandmother Louise Dobbins; brothers Michael Champion and Blake Mathis; step-brother Devan Dorsett; step-sister Dayleigh Dorsett; uncles Ty Hayes (Wanda) and Keith Hayes. Funeral services in Alabama were conducted on Sunday, February 23rd, at the Sardis Baptist Church with Bro. Mike Goforth and Bro. Wayne White officiating. Graveside services were held in Dickson on Monday, February 24th, with Bro. Fred Mayberry officiating. Burial was in Union Cemetery of Dickson. Arrangements by Dickson Funeral Home.
