Donald Ray Ezell

Mr. Donald Ray Ezell was born January 6, 1943 to Hubert Melvin and Mae Ophelia (Martin) Ezell in Dickson County, Tennessee. He passed away December 20, 2013 at Alvin C. York Veterans Hospital in Murfreesboro, Tennessee. He was 70 years of age. He is survived by: wife Yvonne B. Ezell of Cartersville, GA; sons Jeff Ezell of Anaheim Hills, CA and Jospeh Ezell (Helen) of Panama City, FL; daughters Veronica Dealman of Mitchell, SD, Vera Hogan (Mark) of Brownsville, KY, Lisa Haddix (Carey) of Dickson, Catherine Garrett (Lonnie) of Cartersville, GA, and Jamie E. Crawford (Norman) of Bon Aqua; brother Wayne Ezell on Bon Aqua and Jack Ezell of Alpine, TN; sisters Nancy McGaughlin of Allen Park, MI and Shirley Roden of Lyles; several grandchildren and great grandchildren. Besides his parents, Mr. Ezell is preceded in death by his daughter Kimberly Ezell, sister Joyce Parker, and brothers John Parker and Charles Ezell. Funeral service was held on Tuesday, December 24th, at the Seventh Day Adventist Church in Dickson with Rev. Bill Miller officiating. Burial followed in the Ezell Cemetery in Bon Aqua. Mr. Ezell served his country in the United States Army, 1962-65. Arrangements by Dickson Funeral Home.
