Rufus Royce Stinson

Mr. Rufus Royce Stinson was born February 6, 1934 to Wash W. and Lona (Lampley) Stinson in Williamson County, Tennessee. He passed away December 13, 2013 at Horizon Medical Center in Dickson. He was 79 years of age. Survivors include: wife Leila Stinson; sons Lee Stinson of Murfreesboro, Charles Stinson of Ashland City, and Step-son David Prock of Bon Aqua; daughters Jennifer Tidwell of Bon Aqua, Susan Hall of Murfreesboro, Janice Grant, and step-daughter Rhonda Billings of Bon Aqua; brothers Dalton Stinson and his wife Betty and Boyd Stinson; sisters Nora Tidwell, Betty Holman and husband Michael, Mae Gray and husband R.C., and Gladys Lee and husband Bobby. There are seventeen grandchildren and several great grandchildren. Funeral services were Monday, December 16th, at the Fairview Chapel with Elder Sue Hutchinson officiating. Burial followed in the Hudgins Cemetery in Fairview. Arrangements by Fairview Chapel of Dickson Funeral Home.
