Maurice Edward Bowker

Mr. Maurice Edward Bowker was born January 31, 1947 to Robert Nelson and Audrey (Harrell) Bowker in Dickson County, Tennessee. He passed away November 19, 2013 at Horizon Medical Center in Dickson. He was 66 years of age. Survivors include: sons David Nelson Bowker of Dickson and William Curtis Bowker and his wife Tonya of Cumberland Furnace; daughters Loretta Marie Black (James Christopher) of Vanleer and Amelia Maureen Bohlen (Brian) of Dickson; brother Ray G. Bowker of Dickson; seven grandchildren and one great grandchild. Besides his parents, Mr. Bowker is preceded in death by his wife Nancy Christine Bowker, brothers William Franklin , Robert Nolan, and Thomas Bowker, and daughter Melisa Christine Duke. Visitation and memorial service will be Tuesday, November 26th, from 5-8 pm at the Sylvia Baptist Church. Brother Clark Brown will officiate. Arrangements by Dickson Funeral Home.
