Charles Ray Sheley

Mr. Charles Ray Sheley was born January 30, 1926 to Edward Earl and Amelia Grace (Smith) Sheley in Dickson County, Tennessee. He passed away November 10, 2013 at Horizon Medical Center in Dickson. He was 87 years of age. Survivors include: wife (of 65 years) Mary Etta Sheley; son Edward Byron Sheley and his wife Crysti of Dickson; daughter Patti Ann Ettien and her husband John of Kingston; sister Janelle Greet of Atlanta, GA; grandsons J.C. Ettien and Clay Edward Sheley. Besides his parents, Mr. Sheley is preceded in death by his sisters Edna Pearl Walters and Marie Frazier. Mr. Sheley was a member of the First Baptist Church in Dickson, retired President of Wilson, Weesner & Wilkinson, President of Nashville Equipment Dealers Association, and member of Nashville Downtown Rotary Club. Visitation will be Tuesday, November 12th, from 4-8 pm. Graveside service will be Wednesday, November 13th, beginning at 1 pm with Bro. Lewis Bratton officiating. Burial will be in Union Cemetery of Dickson. Arrangements by Dickson Funeral Home.
