Sarah Josephine Edens

Mrs. Sarah Josephine Edens was born November 4, 1935 to Alvie and Ruby (Jones) Adams in Robertson County, Tennessee. She passed away November 6, 2013 at Dickson HealthCare Center. She was 78 years of age. Survivors include: husband John Edens of Dickson; son Joseph Howard, Jr. (Tina) of Alexandria; daughters Dorothy Martin of Dickson, Sandy Bateman of Ashland City, Tammy Heggie (Junior) of Charlotte, and Delores Hartley (Junior) of Vanleer; step-daughter Wanda Williams (Michael) of McEwen; special granddaughter Stephanie Martin along with 17 additional grandchildren, great grandchildren, and great great grandchildren. There are many of ther family members and friends. Besides her parents, Mrs. Edens is preceded in death by her son Roger Howard. Visitation and service were at the Fairview Chapel on Tuesday, November 12th. Burial followed in the Harpeth Hills Memorial Gardens. Arrangements by the Fairview Chapel of Dickson Funeral Home.
