Jerry Lynn Guthrie

Mr. Jerry Lynn Guthrie was born September 15, 1953 to William Calvin Guthrie and Voicie Linda (Felts) Guthrie in Detroit, Michigan. He passed away September 27, 2013 at the Veterans Administration Hospital in Nashville. He was 60 years of age. Survivors include: wife Laurie Skinner; sons Melford Lynn Guthrie of Nashville and Travis Fetter of South Carolina; daughters Tiffany S. Blanchard of Denver, Colorado, Christy Corven of Nashville, Kimberly Clark of Dickson, Jessican England of Dickson, and Teresa Willett of Dickson; brothers Calvin Guthrie of Belton, Texas, Michael Guthrie of Erin, and Stephen Guthrie of Hollywood, California; sisters Catherine Ray of Erin, Brenda Haines of Atlanta, and Sharon Burnett of Dickson. There are nineteen grandchildren. Besides his parents, Mr. Guthrie is preceded in death by his brothers Tommy, Harry, and Donald Guthrie and sister Voicie Willine Guthrie. Funeral services were held on Monday, September 30th, with Bro. Don Gibbs and Bro. Jerry Reynolds officiating. Burial with military honors followed in the Sherwood Cemetery.
