Jewell R. Bishop

Mrs. Jewell R. Bishop was born August 12, 1931 to Jewell and Eddie (Adcock) Richardson in Dickson County, Tennessee. She passed away August 31, 2013 at Horizon Medical Center in Dickson. She was 82 years of age. Survivors include: husband Ben Bishop; nieces Jan Richardson and Jina Luther; nephews Joe Daugherty, James Daugherty, and Mark Richardson, Jr.; several great nieces and great nephews; and several great great nieces and great great nephews. Besides her parents, Mrs. Bishop is preceded in death by her twin sister Jean Daugherty, brother Mark Wynn Richardson, Sr. and daughter Julie Bishop Russell. Mrs. Bishop served the citizens of Dickson County for many years as County Trustee. Graveside services were Tuesday, September 3rd, with Rev. Frank Walker officiating. Burial was in the Dickson County Memorial Gardens. Arrangements by Dickson Funeral Home.
