Jewell R. Bishop

Mrs. Jewell R. Bishop was born August 12, 1931 to Jewell and Eddie (Adcock) Richardson in Dickson County, Tennessee. She passed away August 31, 2013 at Horizon Medical Center in Dickson. She was 82 years of age. Survivors include: husband Ben Bishop; nieces Jan Richardson and Jina Luther; nephews Joe Daugherty, James Daugherty, and Mark Richardson, Jr.; several great nieces and great nephews; several great great nieces and great great nephews. Besides her parents, Mrs. Bishop is preceded in death by her twin sister Jean Daugherty, brother Mark Wynn Richardson, Sr., and daughter Julie Bishop. Graveside services will be Tuesday, September 3rd, beginning at 2 pm with Rev. Frank Walker officiating. Services and burial will be in the Dickson County Memorial Gardens. Mrs. Bishop served for many years as Dickson County Trustee. Arrangements by Dickson Funeral Home.
