Herman Leroy Cagle

Mr. Herman Leroy "Roy" Cagle was born May 20, 1929 to John Levy Cagle and Willie Inez (Melton) Cagle in Humphreys County, Tennessee. He passed away August 26, 2013 at his residence in Dickson. He was 84 years of age. He is survived by his brother Tommy Cagle and his wife Kay of Centerville, sister-in-law Hugette Cagle of Dickson, along with several nieces and nephews. Besides his parents, Mr. Cagle is preceded in death by his wife Mary Ruth (Lovell) Cagle, brothers John Elvis Cagle and James William Cagle, and sisters Mary Katherine Frank and Louise Pirtle. He proudly served his country in the United States Army during the Korean War. He was an executive accountant with the National Life and Accident Insurance Company of Tennessee. Visitation will be Thursday, August 29th, from 2:30-8:00 pm and Friday, August 30th, from 12 Noon until time of service. Funeral service will be Friday, August 30th, from the Chapel of Dickson Funeral Home beginning at 3 pm with Bro. Bill McDonald and Bro. Tommy Cagle officiating. Burial will follow in the Union Cemetery of Dickson. Arrangements by Dickson Funeral Home.
