Roy Clovis McDonald

Mr. Roy Clovis McDonald was born May 31, 1945 to Wilburn and Mattie Vee McDonald in Perry County, Tennessee. He passed away August 19, 2013 to Centennial Medical Center in Nashville. He was 68 years of age. Survivors include: wife Anna (Sawyers) McDonald; daughters Tammy Lynn (McDonald) Choate (Tim) of Murfreesboro, Anji Lynn (McDonald) Baydoun (Joe) of Smyrna, Jennifer Marie McDonald of Nashville, and Gina Lee (McDonald) Street (Joshua) of Zion, Illinois; step-daughter Shanni Michelle Hick of Dickson; brothers Clarence McDonald of Soddy-Daisy and Grover McDonald of Hohenwald; sisters Donna Walker, Connie Sharp, Betty Hensley, Maggie Thomas, Jewel Shanklin, Lois Huff (all of Hohenwald) and Una Jones of Murfreesboro. There are seven grandchildren, five step grandchildren, and one step great grandchild. Mr. McDonald served for twenty years in the United States Air Force, including service during the Vietnam War. He will be buried August 22nd in the Middle Tennessee State Veterans Cemetery with full military honors. Arrangements by Dickson Funeral Home.
