Juanita Whitfield

Mrs. Dorothy Juanita Whitfield was born July 21, 1936 to Percy Hester and Rachel (Baker) Hester in Cheatham County, Tennessee. She passed away August 4, 2013 at her residence in Dickson. She was 77 years of age. Survivors include: son Timothy Whitfield (Kimberly) of Dickson; brother Dean Hester (Brenda) of White Bluff; sister Connie England (Buford) of White Bluff; grandchildren Teresa Mitchell, Ricky Dean Whitfield, Missy Hamilton, James Michael Hedge, and David Anthony Verzier; great grandchildren Tabitha Long, Stephanie Hunt, Wade Hunt, Caleb Hamilton, Hailey Sewell, and Gracie Yarnell; and great great grandchildren Heaven Bunn, James Bunn, and Jayden Henry Long. Besides her parents, Mrs. Whitfield is preceded in death by her sons Ricky Whitfield and Lonnie Joe Whitfield. She was a member of the Taylor Town Church of Christ and worked at Ebbtide Boats of White Bluff. Funeral service was Tuesday, August 6th, with Bro. David Peeler officiating. Burial was in the Dickson County Memorial Gardens. Arrangements by Dickson Funeral Home.
