George Henry NARUP, Sr.

Mr. George Henry Narup, Sr. was born September 22, 1943 to Gerald John and Sophie (Osburn) Narup in Alton, Illinois. He passed away March 13, 2013 at Horizon Medical Center following an extended illness. He was 69 years of age. Survivors include: wife Jackie Narup; sons Joseph Michael Narup of Bon Aqua and Timothy John Narup of Hohenwald; daughters Deanna Dawn "Dee Dee" Doerr (Richard) of Dupo, Illinois, Rachel Marie Geier (Randy) of Fairview, and Jennifer Lynn Narup of Bon Aqua; sister Wanda Jaco of Granite City, Illinois; grandchildren Samantha, Daniel, Allison, Randy, Bridgett Geier, Amanda Christine Narup, George Narup III, Richard Lee Doerr, and Ashley Nichole Doerr. Besides his parents, Mr. Narup is preceded in death by his son, George H. Narup, Jr. Visitation will be Monday, March 18th, at the Dickson Funeral Home from 3-8 pm and Tuesday, March 19th, from 10 am until time of service. Funeral service will be Tuesday, March 19th, from the Chapel of Dickson Funeral Home beginning at 12 Noon. Burial will follow at 2 pm in the Middle Tennessee State Veterans Cemetery in Pegram with full military honors. Mr. Narup is a retired veteran of the United States Air Force.
