Peggy Jean Hood

Mrs. Peggy Jean Hood was born February 27, 1950 to William Curtis and Fola (Bailey) Simons in Dickson County, Tennessee. She passed away March 3, 2013 at Horizon Medical Center in Dickson. She was 63 years of age. Survivors include: husband Lawrence Hood, Sr.; sons Jerald Wayne Hood of Arlington, Texas, Johnnie Paul Hood of Dickson, Bobby Joe Hood of Dickson, and Matthew Philip Hood of Dickson; daughters Roxanne Jean Chester (David) of Pleasant View, Regina Kay Kanouse (Jeffrey) of Dickson, Suzanna Marie Hood of Campbell County, Tennessee; brothers Rockie, Larry, and Charlie (Lynnette) Simons (all of Dickson), sister Goldie STyles (David) of Dickson; two grandchildren and three great grandchildren. Besides her parents, Mrs. Hood is preceded in death by her son Lawrence J. Hood, Jr., sister Cathy Marie Bradshaw, and brother William Curtis Simons, Jr. Visitation and memorial service will be held on Saturday, March 9th. The family will receive visitors beginning at 9:30 am with the memorial service beginning at 11:30 am. At the request of the deceased and her family, the body will be cremated.
