W.T. Harry

Mr. W.T. "Woody" Harry was born February 1, 1919 to Allen and Lorenah (Taylor) Harry in Dyer County, Tennessee. He passed away January 31, 2013 at his residence in Ashland City. He was 93 years of age. He is survived by: son Wayne Harry (Carrie) of Missouri; step-son Ricky Buchli of Nashville; daughters Gloria Ripley of California and Juanita Harry of Missouri; step-daughter Cindy Martin (Paul) of Ashland City; sisters Lucille Henderson and Betty Henderson; and several grandchildren. Besides his parents, Mr. Harry is preceded in death by his wife Gracie, sister Bessie Henderson, and brother Crockett Harry. He worked as an engineer and proudly served his country in the United States Army during World War II. Visitation will be from the Dickson Funeral Home on Monday, February 4th, from 4-8 pm and Tuesday, February 5th, from 9 am until time of service. Funeral service will be Tuesday, February 5th, from the Chapel of Dickson Funeral Home beginning at 11 am with Bro. Franklin Mitchell officiating. Burial will follow in the Hudgins Cemetery in Fairview. Arrangemens by Dickson Funeral Home.
