Edna Irene Buttrey

Mrs. Edna Irene Buttrey was born October 22, 1936 to John and Velma (Warf) Wallace in Brownsville, Tennessee. She passed away December 20, 2012 at St. Thomas Hospital in Nashville. Survivors include: sons James Marshall (Jessie) of Clarksville, John Marshall (Marie) of Clarksville, Kenneth Marshall of Dickson, and Jeffrey Marshall (Becky) of Lebanon; daughters Judy True (Chester) of Mason, TN, Mary Jo Clark (L.C.) of Pegram, and Anita Dawson of Dickson; sixteen grandchidren and three great grandchildren. Besides her parents, Mrs. Buttrey is preceded in death by her husband Alvin Buttrey and brother William Wallace. Visitation will be Friday, December 21st, from 2-8 pm and Saturday, December 22nd, from 10 am until time of service. Funeral service will be Saturday, December 22nd, from the Chapel of Dickson Funeral Home beginnng at 2 pm with Bro. Donnie Craig and Grandson Rick Simpson officiating. Burial will follow in the Tidwell Cemetery in Bon Aqua. Arrangements by Dickson Funeral Home.
