Lloyd Leechie Buttrey

Mr. Lloyd Leechie Buttrey was born May 4, 1924 to Johnny Frazier and Bertha (Deal) Buttrey in Williamson County, Tennessee. He passed away December 9, 2012 at Summit Medical Center in Nashville at the age of 88. He is survived by: sons Larry Frazier Buttrey (Carolyn) of Bon Aqua, Bruce Campbell Buttrey (Beverly) of Pleasant View; daughter Joan Baker (Joe0 of Lowes Bend; brothers Ewell and Bill Jones both of Fairview; grandchildren Andrea Triplett, Frazier Buttrey, Renee Wooden, and Scott Alberd; seven great grandchildren and two great great grandchildren. Besides his parents, Mr. Buttrey is preceded in death by his wife Neva Christine (Pendergrass) Buttrey, half-brothers Tom & Vernon Jones, half-sister Edith Sexton, and sister Cecilia Jeffries. Funeral services were Wednesday, December 12th, at the New Hope Baptist Church in Bon Aqua with Bro. Jerry Milam officiating. Burial followed in the New Hope Baptist Cemetery.
