Mrs. Hesta Baker Adkins was born August 6, 1914 to Frank and Nettie (Baker) Baker in Houston County, Tennessee. She passed away November 13, 2012 at Horizon Medical Center in Dickson. She is survived by: daughter Beverly Mazzo (Anthony) of Burns; brother Frank Baker of Dickson; grandchildren Tony Mazzo (Mendy), Rosie Skinner, and Jason Mazzo; and great grandchild Sam Mazzo. Besides her parents, Mrs. Adkins is preceded in death by her husband John Clark Adkins, daughter Joan Moss, brother Marvin Baker, sisters Scylla Parks, Etha Spicer, Jewel Parchment, Elna Hill, Pearl Pate, and Maycle Mallory, two infant granddaughters, great granddaughter Josie Mazzo, and grandson-in-law Eric Skinner. Visitation will be Wednesday, November 14th, from 4-8 pm and Thursday, November 15th, from 10 am until time of service. Funeral service will be Thursday, November 15th, from the Chapel of Dickson Funeral Home beginning at 1 pm. Burial will follow in the Union Cemetery of Dickson. Arrangements by Dickson Funeral Home.
