James Mark Nelson

Mr. James Mark Nelson was born April 23, 1964 to Homer and Patricia (Tapoum) Nelson in Dickson County, Tennessee. He passed away suddenly October 2, 2012 at Horizon Medical Center in Dickson at the age of 48. Survivors include: father Homer Nelson of Dickson; mother Patricia Nelson Gum of Arlington, Texas; sons James Michael Nelson of Dickson and Jacob Franklin of East Tawas, Michigan; brother Joseph Nelson of Bon Aqua; sisters Tammy Haynes of Dickson and Betty Holland of Lebanon. He is also survived by several cousins, nieces, and nephews. He is preceded in death by his grandparents Thomas & Beulah Nelson and brother Eddie Nelson. Visitation will be Thursday, October 4th, from 3-8 pm and Friday, October 5th, from 10 am until time of service. Funeral service will be Friday, October 5th, from the Chapel of Dickson Funeral Home beginning at 2 pm. Burial will follow in the Dickson County Memorial Gardens. Arrangements by Dickson Funeral Home.
