Mary Elizabeth Straughan

Mrs. Mary Elizabeth Straughan was born April 9, 1946 to John H. Parks and Gaynell (Blogburn) Parks Sandlin in Camden, New Jersey. She passed away September 28, 2012 at the Grace HealthCare Center of Franklin. She is survived by: husband Leo Raymond Straughan, Sr. of Fairview; son Leo Raymond Straughan, Jr. and his wife Cheri of Fairview; daughter April Dianne Straughan (Keith Davidson) of Fairview; brother Rodger Sandlin and his wife Susan of Maine; sisters Diane Blankenship, Susan Tucker, and Cheryl George, all of Tennessee. There are eight grandchildren. Besides her parents, Mrs. Straughan is preceded in death by an infant son, Kevin. Visitation and funeral will take place at the Fairview Chapel. Visitation will be on Monday, October 1st from 2-8 pm and Tuesday, October 2nd, from 10 am until service. Funeral service will be Tuesday, October 2nd, from the Fairview Chapel beginning at 1 pm with Bro. Fred Mayberry officiating. Burial will follow in the Harpeth Hills Cemetery.
