Betty M. Ward

Mrs. Betty Estelle Ward was born September 6, 1937 to Early Wade McBride and Emily (Smith) McBride in Waynesboro, Virginia. She passed away August 9, 2012 at her residence in Dickson. She was 74 years of age. She is survived by her husband of 58 years Ken Ward; sons Greggory Lain Ward and his wife Jacklyn of Dickson and Timothy Blake Ward and his wife Devin of Visalia, California; grandchildren Ashley Meghan Rochelle and Peyton Michelle Ward; and great granddaughter Emmalee Kay Rochelle. She is preceded in death by her parents. She has worked for several years at WalMart of Dickson. A memorial service will be held on Thursday night, August 16th, beginning at 7 pm from the Chapel of Dickson Funeral Home with Bro. Todd Vermilyea officiating. Her cremains will be enurned at the Dickson County Memorial Gardens. In lieu of flowers, memorials are requested to the Dickson County Humane Society. Arrangements by Dickson Funeral Home.
