Bill Dorton

Mr. Jessie William "Bill" Dorton was born October 13, 1952 to Buford and Lorene (Hutchinson) Dorton in Cheatham County, Tennessee. He passed away August 5, 2012 at his residence in White Bluff at the age of 59. He is survived by: son Wesley Dorton of Pegram; daughter Amber Dorton of Pegram; brothers Mike, Bubba, Darrell, Jack, and Fred Dorton; and sisters Donna, Patricia, and Gina. Besides his parents, Mr. Dorton is preceded in death by his daughter Tiffany Dorton, brothers Buster and Tommy Dorton, and sister Mary "Poochie". Visitation will be Tuesday, August 7th, from 5-8 pm and Wednesday, August 8th, from 9 am until time of service. Funeral service will be Wednesday, August 8th, from the Chapel of Dickson Funeral Home beginning at 11 am with Bro. Randy Clark officiating. Burial will follow in the Hudson Cemetery in Pegram.
