Carl Glenton Hay

Mr. Carl Glenton Hay was born April 28, 1916 to Jessie Thomas and Dovie May (Benefield) Hay in Cheatham County, Tennessee. He passed away July 4, 2012 in NHC HealthCare Center of Dickson at the age of 96. He is survived by: six sons, Charles, Wayne (Mary), Dorris (Lou), Larry (Diana), and Terry (Lorri) Hay; daughter Donna H. Akey; sister Helen McGee. There are twenty-one grandchildren and several great grandchildren. Besides his parents, Mr. Hay is preceded in death by his sife and mother of his children Zella M. Hay Griffith and his second wife Mary S. Hay. Visitation will take place at the White Bluff Chapel on Friday, July 6th, from 11 am until 12:45 pm. Graveside services will begin at 1 pm at the Williams Cemetery with Bro. Donnie Spann officiating. Mr. Hay briefly served his country in the United States Navy. He worked as a mechanic and just enjoyed helping people. Arrangements by White Bluff Chapel of Dickson Funeral Home.
