Mary Elizabeth Marbut

Mrs. Mary Elizabeth Marbut was born September 11, 1938 to Jessie James Appleton and Georgia Elizabeth (Daily) Appleton in Veto, Alabama. She passed away May 16, 2012 at her residence in Pegram. She is survived by her husband of 59 years Thomas H. Marbut, sons Randall R. Marbut and Ricky J. Marbut (both of Pegram, daughters Tammy Denise Summers (Randy) of Kingston Springs and Vickie Lynn Fisher (Mark) of Ashland City, brother Monroe Appleton of Dickson, sister Clara Stanford of Elkmont, Alabama ten grandchildren and twelve great grandchildren. Besides her parents, Mrs. Marbut is preceded in death by her son James Edward Marbut, brother James Edward Appleton, sisters Ima Jean Hill and Angelina Campbell. Visitation will be Friday, May 18th, from 12 Noon til 8 pm and Saturday, May 19th, from 9 am until time of service. Funeral service will be Saturday, May 19th, from the Chapel of Dickson Funeral Home beginning at 11 am with Bro. Leon Edwards officiating. Burial will follow in the Harpeth Hills Memorial Gardens.
