Lela Odell Sensing

Mrs. Lela Odell Sensing was born October 11, 1921 to James Walton Owen and Bertha Eudora (Sensing) Owen in Dickson County, Tennessee. She passed away March 15, 2012 at the Skyline Medical Center in Madison. She is survived by: husband Johnie Lester Sensing; son Wendell Ray Sensing of Dickosn; daughter Peggy "Gayle" Yarbrough (Roger Sutton) of Southside; nine grandchildren and three great grandchildren. Visitation will be Saturday, March 17th, from 10 am until 8 pm and Sunday, March 18th, from 11 am until time of service. Funeral service will be Sunday, March 18th, from the Chapel of Dickson Funeral Home beginning at 2 pm. Burial will follow in the Owens Cemetery. Mrs. Sensing was a member of the Mt. Olive Church of Christ. She retired from Acme Boot Company in Ashland City. Arrangements by Dickson Funeral Home.
