Robert Edward Lee

Mr. Robert Edward Lee was born June 27, 1922 to Herman Lonnie Lee and Bertie (Edwards) Lee in Dickson County, Tennessee. He passed away at his residence in Dickson on March 5, 2012. He is survived by: wife Elizabeth Sesler Lee; sons Terry Lee (Linda) of Little Rock, Arkansas, Jerry Lee (Debi) of Athens, Alabama, and Ronnie Lee (Ann) of Dickson; daughter Carol Hayes (Terry) of Dickson; brothers Wayne Lee of Dickson and Don Lee of Ypsililanti, Michigan; sisters Billie Cohoon, Norma Graybill, Jane Smith, and Barbara Weems; eight grandchildren and eleven great grandchildren. Besides his parents, Mr. Lee is preceded in death by his wife and mother of his children Joy Marie Lee, brothers Jesse Lee and Will A. Lee, sisters Virginia Outlaw, Jeannetta Farley, Earline Daniel, Carene Osborne, Lucille Young, and Zennell Lee. Visitation will be Tuesday, March 6th from 2-8 pm abnd Wednesday, March 7th, from 9 am until time of service. Funeral service will be Wednesday, March 7th beginning at 11 am with Bro. Clark Brown officiating. Burial will follow n the Pleasant Hill Cemetery in Sylvia. Mr. Lee proudly served his country in the United State Army during World War II. He was a member of the Sylvia Baptist Church. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Sylvia Baptist Church Building Fund.
