Mrs. Mary Ell Spicer was born June 15, 1931 to Alfred and Lena (Gill) Baker in Davidson County, Tennessee. She passed suddenly February 14, 2012 at Horizon Medical Center in Dickson at the age of 80. Survivors include: son John Al. Spicer III and his wife Cynthia of White Bluff; daughters Ruby Whitlock of Vanleer, Lena Forrest of White Bluff, Kathy Hafner of Dickson, and Diane Gunter and her husband Robert of Lime Rock, Arkansas; twelve grandchildren and several great grandchildren. Besides her parents, Mrs. Spicer is preceded in death by her husbnad John A. Spicer Jr., daughter Rita Grove, brother Leo Baker, and sister Irene Hampton. Visitation will be at the White Bluff Chapel on Wednesday, February 15th, from 4-8 pm and Thursday, February 16th, from 9 am until time of service. Funeral service will be Thursday, February 16th, from the White Bluff Chapel beginning at 11 am with Bro. Jerry Butler officiating. Burial will follow in the Williams Cemetery.
