J.W. Sullivan

Mr. J. W. Sullivan was born January 18, 1926 to Auvy and Emma (Cook) Sullivan in Dickson County, Tennessee. He passed away February 8, 2012 at Alive Hospice in Nashville. He is survived by: sister Joyce Branch; sister-in-law Ruth Brown and her husband Edsel; several nieces, nephews, great nieces, and great nephews. Besides his parents, Mr. Sullivan is preceded in death by his wife Daisy Choate Sullivan, brother Doyle and Roy Sullivan, sisters Effie Hooper, Evie Hargrove, Fannie Ethridge, U.C. Cox, Ola Dell Cross, and Katie Hawkins. Visitation will be Friday, February 10th, from 4-8 pm and Saturday, February 11th, from 11 am until time of service. Funeral will be Saturday, February 11th, from the Chapel of Dickson Funeral Home beginning at 2 pm. Burial will follow in the Stuart Cemetery. Mr. Sullivan proudly served his country in the United States Army during World War II.
