Helen Eugenia Henderson

Mrs. Helen Eugenia Henderson was born March 21, 1926 to Herbert Henry and Mary Florence Morris in Cheatham County, Tennessee. She passed away November 29, 2011 at St. Thomas Hospital following a short illness. She is survived by: son Leon Cortez Henderson, Jr.; daughters Brenda Eugenia Martin Massaro, Glenda Kay Cox (Alvin), Mary Cetervia Spicer (Vernon), Donna Lee Ford (Wyatt), and Helen Yvonne Smithson; brother Herbert Morris (Edna); sister Louise Harding; twenty-three grandchildren and thirty-six great grandchildren. Besides her parents, Mrs. Henderson is preceded in death by her husband Leon Cortez Henderson, Sr., brothers William "Billy", Hershel, Donald "Puney", and Alfred Morris, granddaughter Cheyenne Fowler, and great grandson Michael Fowler. Visitation will be from the White Bluff Chapel beginning on Thursday, December 1st, from 10 am until 8 pm and Friday, December 2nd, from 9 am until time of service. Funeral service will be Friday, December 2nd, from the White Bluff Chapel beginning at 1 pm with Bro. Larry Cochran officiating. Burial will follow in the Taylor Town Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Burial Fund at the White Bluff Chapel to help defray burial expenses.
